My pc is on 24/7 minus maintenance with good connections using less than half the cpu juice at any time. Happy to rent the rest. How can I pimp it out?
Not much I can't set up, though I'm no programmer.
Are there networks to join? Or how is it done? Are there good books on it?
Or did the idea as of yet never take off?
I certainly like the concept both for personal reasons and ecologically, but have yet to actually see anything like it in action first hand. Whole idea makes me curious and its time to check it out.
Thanks for the Uplink link. Whether it has something for me or not. It requires sign-up. I'll try to check it through other means first as most any site that pulls that doesn't have anything worth showing so demands data before showing the nothing. It shows 116 matches in the whole world with 0 special criteria. Some entries could be many years old as no dates are shown.
Bit of a mine field of misinformation and sales when I do normal searches. Some claim special hardware is needed when it can plainly be seen working without any such. Usual stuff. Does mean there's money there though.
Reminds me of most everything I read online about here before I came anyway. Don't know 'till ya' go. The internet is totally inappropriate for some questions.
Sometimes ya' gotta do the dog and stick your nose in and you'll know. Kinda like with girls.
