Why do my websites now have popups???

I have RedHat 9 updated with latest errata stuff. Since I updated my server to RedHat 9 I now have users complaining about getting popups when coming to my websites. I also seem to be getting a popup when I point my browser at my own sites. I don't have any spyware on my system that any of the spyware proggies can find. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas.

Server version: Apache/2.0.40

Thanks!

You have pop-ups and are hosting the site yourself???
That is unusual. What are the pop-ups advertising? That might lead you to the source of the problem. I would have said it is probably Gator or some other POS spy-ware app on the users machines except you see them when you open the site.

I know it is a long shot but I would check your code to see if it has been compromised. There are vulnerabilities in Apache2 that pop up from time to time. To the best of my knowledge there is no Gator for Linux.

Also, just a thought, but alot of sites pop-up screens when you leave, could it be that they are experiencing that, rather than one from your sever? I remeber getting really angry one day when i thought the same was happening from my machine, but it turned out to be generated from a site i just left.

I hope you have found and eliminated any pop-ups from your sites, ad intrusion is a really serious problem. But I'm a bit surprised that anyone has a browser that allows pop-ups. They are not hard to block.
