Who is the real inventor of the first Raspberry PI system?
Hello,
Might be an interesting question. Since the Raspberry PI system have a fast growing market, it'll likely keep expanding tomorrow. Who is the real inventor of the first Raspberry PI system? thank you |
Light reading for you https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raspberry_Pi, check under the history section for the origin. In short, it was and is a foundation project and thus a team effort under the Raspberry Pi (RPi) foundation.
I want to mention here that The two educational foundations RPi and CoderDojo appear to be working on a merger, which may be of some interest. |

No, that argues that it is a development and not an invention. It is a computer board and those have existed before, so if being a computer board is an invention, that invention would have been made by someone else. It is low cost and low cost products have existed before. It is low power and low power products have existed before and the low power nature is largely a product of the chip that it uses and that comes from a long line of low power chips.
It combines several useful and interesting features but combination of existing and well-known features is not invention unless there is some truly novel element and here there isn't. It is well marketed and good marketing - novel though that may be - is not an invention. I don't see an invention there. |
