Question Which team will win the 2022 MLB World Series?

You are welcome to predict incorrectly

Because it is borderline impossible to predict correctly

MLB still exists? Huh. Must not be as popular anymore, I haven't read anything about them in a long time.

As I lived in the Philly area for 25 years, I gotta say Phillies.

Used to work beside their stadium. Never really paid attention to them, just knew on days where they had an early afternoon game, to go home early to avoid the traffic.

I went to one Phillies game at the old Vet stadium when I lived in those parts. I wasn't a Phillies fan at the time (I had just moved there and was still rooting for the Orioles), but it was a treat.

I got to see Mike Schmidt end the game with a walk-off homer in the bottom of the ninth.

I'm originally from B-more area as well!! I actually REMEMBER their last championship, before their decades of being in dead last.

I no longer watch sports, Olympics and world cup are exceptions. Grew up in a similar area, fond memories of the Vet. Schmidty was awesome. Met him once in a diner he signed an autograph on a napkin, which was lost to time years later (no clue when). But they were fun to watch back then, went to the home games on Sundays. Philly Phanatic, tracking stats as you watched the game...good times. But, back then they seemed like they played for the love of the game rather than the money.

Actually, that's pretty much the same for me. I'm fed up with football because too many of the NFL owners are jerks and the governing body of the NCAA--er--has a startling lack of integrity and with baseball because the MLB games have gotten just too darn long to be worth my while.

I used to enjoy both basketball and hockey in person back in the day, as the saying goes, but, as far as I am concerned, they just don't fit in a television screen.

I don't care about the Olympics these days. The IOC looks good only when compared to FIFA.

Grump, grump, grump.

Whichever team is most 'connected' with Slackware!!!
(sadly, MLL doesn't have a chance, unless BDFL.sig embraces it as a boot option)
