Umm, no...you have that backerds. Fission is not Sun...fission is breaking down large atoms into smaller ones. Fusion is how the Sun produces it's energy (combining smaller atoms into larger ones).

Think of it like this: Fission = fizzle...typically stuff being broken down. Fusion = fusing, putting stuff together.
