What song or theme should micro$oft play for window$ 8

I was inspired by a thread called Suggestions for Codenames for M$ next OS by Alexvader.

Do you remember when window$ XP played Madonna's Ray of Light song?

I will start with two selections

For the love of Money by the O'Jays

Living on the Edge by Aerosmith

If a song or theme you have chosen needs to be explained to get it's meaning, please do so.

For example, Aerosmith's Living on the Edge is because window$ is expose to viruses and spyware.

The Battle theme of "The Gladiator" from Hans Zimmer... :D

You must really fight aganst that thing to get it to do what you want...

... and finally getting W$ to do it without a BSOD is an epic achievement...

dv502 11-30-2010 02:01 PM

Yeah, I remember the theme.

By the way, I edited my post to give you credit for the Suggestions for Codenames for M$ next OS thread.

Thanks for your reply.

I would vote for the song they were playing when the Titanic sank :).

Actually I'd choose a grimmer theme...

Unfortunately, this would immediately make Microsoft awesome.

I don't care nor do I follow an artist or group personal lives or their beliefs. I chosen the song based on the title -- hence the joke of a window$ 8 commercial.

BTW, this thread is meant to be in good fun only.

Jeebizz 11-30-2010 04:39 PM

Best Green Day album hands down is Dookie :)

I do...

Sorry then.

It was a bit out of place comment anyway.

So Billie Joe Armstrong is bi, big woop. 'Freddie Mercury' of Queen was bi, that didn't stop that band from putting out good music did it?

Again, true. It's something I just don't instinctively like. Not to bring religion into anything, but it's generally considered immoral by my religion standards (Non-denominational Christianity).

In short, I'm homophobic.

Me = Shutting up now. ;)

Damage Incorporated by my favourite band, Metallica.

Jeebizz 12-01-2010 01:33 PM

I wonder how Metallica would have sounded if Les Claypool of Primus actually DID get to be the next bassist instead of Jason Newsted. :p

Metallica, actually, can't sound bad no matter what, it's just that some people don't know how to listen. :p :D

'The End' by the Doors...its a crap song that was unaccountably popular and dragged on far too long. And then a bit longer. And then just went on a bit, for the sake of it.

dugan 10-28-2012 11:17 AM
