1 Mbit/s up on, but only just. I cap torrents at 800 kbit/s. Download is about 4.5 Mbit/s. I have the cheapest broadband service.

I miss when I was at university. 100 Mbit/s up and down, albeit paying about 12 pence/GB, and a lenient IT department.
