What happen to Bryan Lunduke youtube channel? Bryan Lunduke had thousands of videos on Linux. Now his youtube channel is only showing videos no more than three weeks old.
Did Youtube delete all of his videos? It is strange as he had thousands of videos on Linux now on his channel it not showing any videos no more than three weeks old.
I've been watching the migration of a lot of serious content makers migrating away from YouTube because of Google's work to get down to the lowest common denominator. As Lunduke points out in the link that frankbell posted above odysee is good and getting better pretty rapidly for anyone interested in deep relatively uncensored content.
His Youtube still seems active. The most recent upload was this week. And there's this.
Youtube has been deleting videos and even banning accounts of people talking about LGBT, abortion, border control, Trump and other conservative videos. Also banning accounts people talking about conspiracy stuff like did covid come from the lab, vaccine safety, 5G, illuminati, Bilderberg Group, UFOs and other conspiracy.
So I don’t know if youtube deleted his videos. He had thousands of videos on youtube going back long time. So I don’t know why youtube is only showing his videos no more than three week.
Looking at odysee on some of his videos in past month if he was posting that at youtube than probably youtube may have deleted lot of his videos. As youtube would not want those videos that he has been posting for past month at odysee.

I was wondering why someone does not understand that becoming less popular is not the same as ... disappearing.
But now the cat's out of the bag, unambiguously. We have a conspiracy troll.
I will say this once: yes, YT curates both content & search results. It's nothing new. YT is not the public discourse platform you seem to think it is, and never was. But the reasons they remove things are not the reasons you think of. They are simply a company that wants to maximize profit. With gullible fools that will click even more when they get angry and suspicious. Why do you think YT does not take down videos discussing conspiracy against itself? Because it pays, and does not harm them in any way. At all.

Well Bryan Lunduke has lot of Linux content and very much into Linux he also very outspoken and does run with many conspiracy stuff and can kinda of push conservatives and can turn people of him.
But he still active on his website and odysee.
It just I see no post more than three weeks ago on his youtube channel.
One of the problems on a very long list of problems with Youtube is that it has been demonetizing videos with "Linux" in the title.

Bryan Lunduke has been on Odysee and a few others for a long time now and has explained there on multiple occasions why he has deleted almost all of his videos from Youtube, except those pointing to Odysee and/or admonishing people to leave Youtube. So if you want to see his videos, check there not Youtube.
However, he has slowed down and does more fluff than content these days. I hope he is ok after some of the physically dangerous stunts he pulled recently (live meetups for example) and that he can get back to actual FOSS topics soon.

It started with Alex Jones that become very right wing and posting really wiled conservative views tied into conspiracy stuff and no one wanted that but the people on the far right.
Well it is one thing talking about Bilderberg Group, UFOs or 5G it is well other thing to say hundreds of hundreds of people in government and police are sleeping with under age people and only Trump can put them in jail because every one in government and police are sleeping with under age people or a mass shooting in the US are actors paid by the FBI.
Well may be youtube could of had 18+ age sign in with warring you going into very right wing channel they just did not want no part of him and most people not part of the far right so they kick him off. But he still has website and posting his videos there.
So he still has mass base just like stormfront.
This well than give the foundation to kick any thing not run by the government and mainstream media as dangerous content.
What is safe conspiracy and what is dangerous conspiracy can lead to slippery slope censorship of all speech in the US. It just in past some years the US going from your typical conspiracy to just wiled conspiracy like people who think hundreds of doctors, scientist and governments around the world are faking covid. Well such conspiracy would never ever get that level in 2000s and 90s before.
It is well break down of the system of people in the US do not trust the system any more. And when you have this well sure wiled conspiracy stuff can come up.
But censorship of hate speech as how do you define hate speech and what is dangerous conspiracy opens up slippery slope in the US culture. When every social media is doing that.
I wouldn't really bother. IBM was from very beginning involved in Linux. Say helped Linux a lot to kill its early competitor - (Caldera Linux) SCO Unix. So if someone has 44 min. recording about Linux dying because of purchase RedHat by IBM - maybe it is good person decided to start its personal Odysee. Just waste of time watching.
