what happened to rpmfind.net?


For the last couple days I get a '403 Forbidden' error when trying to connect to it. Anyone know what happened to it?

btw, I'm a newbie-- hello!

edit: I meant to post this in the general off-topic forum not member intros

Welcome to LQ. Please use the "report this post" link and request that the moderator of this forum move your question to the General forum as you wish.

As for the actual question, I suggest it would be better to contact them directly by Email. LQ is not connected with other websites, and therefore is not in a position to respond to questions about those other websites. -- J.W.

Try http://rpm.pbone.net/ Same sh1t, different pile.

Not sure what's going on with rpmfind.net. My browser just hangs while trying to load the page.

http://rpmfind.net/ and http://www.rpmfind.net both load for me.. but IMNSHO I think this site sucks. Its slow, their search sucks.. there are much better sites out there for finding RPM's, etc.
