I know this is a bit late but I have just watched Kill Bill Vol. 1 just now. I can't see anything worthwhile except flying heads and hands... and lots of blood.... a movie to promote violence? what do you guys think?
Distribution: PCLOS, Fedora Core, Slackware and Mepis.

No...it's an homage to all the those cheesey kung fu movies...if you've ever seen a few of them, you know exactly where it's all coming from, nothing but blood and gore...a very brilliant movie in it's way.
Hmm, I have to butt in here :), please watch Vol. 2 as well :D, the two volumes are very different, the 2nd being far more speech, far less action.
David Carradine is such a great actor in Vol 2 - in my humble opinion they have to be watched as one film, albeit in two parts. It's not as good as Pulp Fiction or Resevoir Dogs but it's still damn good ;)
I enjoyed it. But that flaming Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon has a lot to answer for - is it now a US law to only make fighting films if you also use bungee cords?
I really love tarrintino films but i did'nt enjoy either of them. The story was poor and predictable unlike pulp fiction. The action in his other films is acceptable because there is a good story, this film was only action.
I actually liked the movie. There was of course a lot of blood every were but that was deliberate.
It was especially hilarious when uma said, "those who survived can go now, but leave your limbs, they belong to me now" (or something similar, just after that big fighting sean)
