Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

View Poll Results: What is Music? (Poll added on 6th of May 2012).
I'm listening to myself cheerfully singing at the moment. I've finished working for this year. I've just started my holiday and will be back at work on 9th Jan 2012
I didnt even know there was a video for that song. Wayne Hussey (the singer) looks like someone took 'Culture Club' era Boy George and dyed his clothes black. LMAO.
Works with a /local/music/$artist/$album/$trackno - $trackname.flac layout.
P.S. With newer versions of ogg123 it can be simplified to
ls -d /local/music/*/* | shuf -n 1 | ogg123 -@ -
The reason for all the sorts and finds was because the previous versions of ogg123 used to play tracks out of order when specifying a directory to play and I never got around to reworking my function. With vorbistools 1.4 onwards the short version works just as well.
