The score for the latest Medal of Honor game, composed by Michael Giacchino and Nami Melumad and broadcast on Scala radio's weekly game music program.

All in German. Sorry.

Herman van Veen “Wenn ich mir was wünschen dürfte” – Apparently a song that Marlene Dietrich had sung.

I looked up a few Van Veen songs after listening to this great Interview from 2015.

This topic has been a constant thread throughout his career. The eternal Pierrot.
I also like his Edith Piaf (oof, probably not the best version with the orchestral stuff at the end) very much. Gives me shivers, too.

Certainly one of the best entries into the Van Veen universe. But his work has always been intensive (read: demanding) in plenty of ways, and also where there is no scene and no audience. I do not understand all his motivations, but absolutely adore his way of dealing political and social topics.

Edit: Okay, that would be too restrictive. There is all the other stuff, too.

All valid entries. FWIW I was refering to the emotional aspect of being somewhere between sadness and happiness, hope and desperation.
