Stevie Ras Vaughan - “The Sky Is Crying” on Bad Rock Radio.

One of the titles that they send with complete information on title and artist. Their program does not lack diversity and I do not see much repetition. But some artists' names are missing when I do not recognize her/him myself.

Robert Plant - Ship of Fools

I cannot get it out of my head, right now. The first time I heard this, was probably less than a week ago on some Internet Radio station, maybe 24-7 Legends Classic Rock (UK) or 319.rock (AUS) .., or another.

Edit: I discover https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UINidbbvGFM
Robert Plant - If I were a Carpenter

I love it when songs are “not the same” but “at least as good”. Now I almost looked up “If I were Carpenter”, but finally do not verify that it were “The Four Tops”. Excuse me if I am erring, but it just is not necessary to know.

Jazz de Ville/Groove (IT)

probably Italian Internet radio station. Fantastic in the background, when you have work to do. Or nothing to do.

Nice, groovy, slightly cheesy but in a good way.

Always happy about another internet radio station.

I will try to extract the streaming links evtl.

I fear the links might change, but for now this works.

VANGELIS - Greatest hits (2021)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4C2w5uMTvRY

Vangelis Papathanasiou (1943-2022) passed away at the age of 79y.

He did music since the age of 4 !
As he told, all this music was mainly what the record and cinema industry looked for. He has written lots of other music too that he loved better himself. So, I guess we have to learn much more from him in the future!

Several songs titled “(When) Push Comes to Shove”.

I try to find a song that was played yesterday on “Bad Rock Radio” but cannot identify it.
So far, it was not
*) Gill Scott Heron
*) The Greatful Dead
*) Aerosmith
*) Freddy McGregor

Others do not qualify for the time, as they are more recent compositions, I suppose ...

Edit:

Btw. It is now “I'll Have to say I love you in a song” by Jim Croce on “San Francisco's 70's Hits
I did not know that he has had a “hit” with that one.

Been listening to JazzDeVille a lot recently. I like it. 4 different channels with distinct sounds (not all of it actual Jazz), filling gaps in my musical panorama.

Thanks again Michael!

I wonder if I am totally dense.

Two days ago, I recommended three “Heart” songs to a girl in our family, who sings in her own band and will, if all goes well, stay professionally involved with music. I found that the stuff she sung on somewhat “official” occasions did not honor her voice, too much air, not enough matter (I do not like J. Birkin). I know she can do “Crazy On You” but make her listen to “Barracuda” and “Magic Man” as well.

Today I heard “Immigrant Song” (Led Zeppelin) sung by a different voice and could not identify it.

Here is one of the others.

Donovan "I Am The Shaman"

But this finally answers it partly... for me: Why The Alamo?

Edit: It may not be clear if you are not European and your father was not a prisoner of war in Britain. When the glory, slime and honor are the same thing and look like the inside of my compost bucket.

The “answer” must be: « I don't mind and the chicks liked it ». Else, I don't get it.
