View Poll Results: What is Music? (Poll added on 6th of May 2012).
As far as I remember she had created the imaginary language that she is using for her music and I wonder if the drain pipe is the same that she was playing on in 1990s. This is the full version... in German “Volles Rohr”, as opposed to the half pipe... “Halbes Rohr”.
It appears she had added something remotely Japanese...
She had embarrased me, when she pointed me out in the audience as the one person who would not sing along with the rest.

Reason: Fuge
Even though with expertise as a criteria Janis Joplin's Full Tilt Boogie Band was a "step up" in many people's minds, I didn't enjoy her later work as much as her middle work for two reasons. Once Big Brother convinced recording engineers that they really did want Maximum Overdrive, they became unique and powerful like a diesel train possessed by demons run amuck, and secondly, Janis's vocals sounded better early on.
I saw them live in 1968 at The Newport Folk Festival and it was jaw dropping and life changing. Just last week I found a recording of the show and the best part is that it was taken right off the PA mixing board. This means that we get to hear something like a mirror image of the sound out front because what is loudest in the board is what is weakest onstage. So the guitars are tamed and distant sounding, the Bass and Drums are strong and you really will not believe your ears to hear Janis with so much intimacy and expertise.
If you love Janis or even just wonder what the fuss was all about, you should hear this.
Koan Sound & Asa - something very different from what one may expect from Koan Sound. Here example https://youtu.be/hEb0ZWVknCI (search on youtube as Koan Sound Asa).

I was born from Original Sin.
