Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

Before Christmas I ripped the Xmas CDs to high quality Oggs so anyone in the house could play them. After the holidays I just kept going; I'm maybe 40% finished. The "Everything" playlist is a pretty eclectic mix: the past hour or so has hit Beethoven, James McMurtry, Chapterhouse, Fripp and Eno, Bob Dylan, Translator, Bauhaus, and Porcupine Tree. Total playtime is ~5000 hours if I include the boatload of progressive podcasts that I've downloaded. (And no commercials!)

Cheers...
My kind of playlist!
In high school when a friend got a car we spent a lot of weekends traveling to Chicago and back.
Bought A CD by Alanis Morissette (and others) for the song Hand In My Pocket,( &c.) the rest of the album($) seemed to suck... but, we had brought the CD's and had hours sometimes in traffic so we gave them a chance; so to other genres!
