Mahler: Symphony 1. The London Symphony Orchestra, Jascha Horenstein conductiong. Advent Process CR/70 cassette, stereo, Dolby B, CrO2 tape, Advent D1019, 1970.

I own less than 100 cassettes. This particular recording is one of the most spectacular in sound quality. It lights up my BSR spectrum analyzer on every band -- from 31.5 to 16K hz. The performance and recording are impeccable.

Dismal Euphony - Autumn Leaves: The Rebellion of Tides

Definitely a several-listens album. This is about the fourth listen and I'm just starting to appreciate it. High quality Norwegian Gothic/black metal from the '90s. Very good male and female vocals. "Carven" is a great track.

Traffic/Jim Capaldi - Shouldn't have took more than you gave

Yet another CD which is no longer readable. “Welcome To The Canteen” I had digitized myself, about twenty years ago.

On the plus side, I just noticed that it is enough to allow scripts from youtube.com only and to keep blocking all the remainder, ads and everything else from Google, Doubleclick & Co to be able to watch these videos in TorBrowser.

Traffic/Steve Winwood - 40000 Headmen

Hello again Michael Uplawski and thank you for the Traffic posts. I do still listen to them from time to time but hadn't heard those two in a long while. They reminded me of a great live show I once witnessed back in the day. It took place in a roller rink where many shows were presented and rather oddly acoustics wise that place always sounded great. One of the opening acts was Taj Mahal who, among other more expected electric and acoustic deep Delta Blues songs, played a Kalimba held up to the PA microphone and so elevated the sound was absolutely mesmerizing and hypnotic. He also quipped when some fool in the audience kept shouting a request, "The men all hate me 'cuz I speaks my mind, but the womens all love me 'cuz... I......takes...........my......................time".

Then the headliner came onstage and Dave Mason, formerly of Traffic, played many fine tunes but this one stood out and had the whole crowd swaying in step.

@enorbert: The line-up on this song already looks like “Mad Dogs and Englishmen“ (edited, I put the Rolling Thunder Tour there) without Joe Cocker. And it sure sounds “Traffic”. Bookmarked.
The guitar riffs make me anticipate a Winwood-solo... than it comes, for real? Define “archetypical”... wait. I have that:

Taj Mahal. I saw him live once (and had mentioned that somewhere in this thread) in Nuremberg... with the Hula Blues; same hat, same shirt.
