not surprising, considering that This Mortal Coil was an all-4AD-band project.
Indeed. Nowadays it's known as DCD though it was a track on the TMC debut, as I'm sure you've worked out.

Now you can have your own Shub-Niggurath at home. You'll need to put aside a good two hours for this mammoth dark ambient collaboration. It's worth it. I was skeptical about this but it works, there's a lot of depth here [pardon the pun].

If you've never experienced Kawehi before, perhaps do a search for something lighter by her first but I chose this because it's potent and deserves recognition and the Neda incident should not be forgotten.

Thank you, I like the darker side of music and this is interesting.

Windy and cold outside. Depressing me. Walmart screwed me out of my 500 gig SSD drive.
Not a happy camper. This jangly sound fits my mood today.

Einstürzende Neubauten - "Z.N.S."

The 1st chorus reminds me saying bullshit at the counter at wally world.
2nd chorus reminds me of the manager 's reply.

i never saw Einstürzende Neubauten as dystopian.
Not even destructive - de-constructive, yes.
One of their albums is called "Strategies against Architectures". That puts it quite well i think.
They became internationally recognized when their Halber Mensch (*) album came out, i think. and outright famous in Japan, where the previous video was taken in what I think is a unique no-audience live recording in some japanese factory hall specifically for that film.
(*) I wish you'd understand the lyrics, esp. to the first "song"...

from said Halber Mensch album (the actual album's audio quality is much better).
Video is japanese, again. I think from the same artist who made the mentioned film.
It combines japanese Butoh dance with EN's message and aesthetics.

btw, EN went slightly more mainstream with this album a few years later. I like it a lot.

thank you for your interest in German Industrial Music of the 80s.

Not understanding the language. But going by the beats and chords and vocals. Which is basic for this scooter tramps pleasure center.

You might understand how this west Texas desert biker can have no clue on what a foreign song is about,

It is why I like videos with lyrics when they are foreign.

Like these guys.

Timecop1983 - Night Drive

His previous albums have had promising material, but with this one he's knocked it out the park, as they say.

This is definitely not for everyone - it's '80s-style synth chillwave/pop. Very well done with many hightlights, it's worth finding your own.
