This isn't black metal, it's pop/nu metal. I like the sauna references, though they have absolutely nothing to do with the song at all.

I was a big fan of Nirvana back in the '90s and went mad for them after Nevermind was released. Still have a few bootleg CDs of theirs that I picked up in Camden.

i was wondering about that.
an argentinian band?

and why did someone put that up as being from somebody else? clickbait indeed, or else i cannot see another reason beyond 12-year old prankster mentality (my apologies to all reasonable 12-year olds out there).

i'll agree that the cover isn't so good (neither is the video. silly halloween costumes), but i'd love to hear some nice nirvana covers, esp. that song... hey, patti smith made one!

I had a girlfriend years go who was a dancer in theatrical productions. When I first saw her CD collection I couldn't believe it - nearly everything was soundtracks - films, musicals etc. I found it very strange but in retrospect fascinating in how people view music and its functionality. Music 'is' movement after all [i.e. vibration], so it's not surprising that it produces movement.

Tia DeNora: "Music may be understood to have power over bodies: it affords materials – structures, patterns, parameters and meanings – that bodies may appropriate or latch on to (mostly semi-consciously). Music is, in short, a material against which to shape up bodily processes, whether these are physiological states (such as exhaustion or arousal), behavioural movements (such as kicking or jumping), co-ordination in some setting (dance steps), self-perception of bodily state (pain or fatigue, pleasure), or motivational levels (being predisposed, in some embodied way, to a particular line of activity, such as, moving faster, jumping higher, slowing down and so on). Music accomplishes none of these things in its own right – it is not a ‘force’ like gravity or wave power. It is rather a potential ‘source’ of bodily powers, a resource for the generation of bodily agency. Music is, or rather can serve as, a constitutive property of bodily being." - Music In Everyday Life

Very interesting post Lysander666. I can't and won't claim to be an expert on the subject, but sounds like the truth to me. Good post!

Hover - Haunted World

As Halloween/Samhain approaches, how's this for an overlooked, dark ambient gem? Great if you don't know anything about the genre and are curious to get into it. An anonymous project which has never been followed up since its release in 2000.
