Vinegar Joe - Black Smoke Rising From The Calumet (The only version that I care to listen to)

Elkie Brooks - Just an Excuse

Elkie Brooks - Fool if you think it's over (How do you say je ne reviens pas in English) (And keep the double-meaning intact) (... see?)

What I did while listening... Have to think now.

I love their music and lyrics. Bought their new album and it's as good as I expected it to be.

Anyway, different band and different style:

I'm mellow this this morning with my Bustelo coffee and the morning darkness in the desert. As I contemplate riding my newly built chopper today. Into the rising sun.

Maybe I'll move on to the Spencer Davis Group with Keep on Running and the Bryds Eight Miles High.

This one's a good parody: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qvN3Omn4is

Wait for about 40-50 seconds in and the "music" starts...

Thanks for turning me on to that. I didn't have that album, but I do now.

A Perfect Circle - Song of My Hate

The video credits Living Syndication.

Edit: I had reason to believe this was a song by A Perfect Circle, but seems to be a song by Living Syndication. A lesser known band that has some history in their recordings being confused with said band, and thought to have been secretly associated with one of its members.

Sounds nothing like the title might make you imagine.
