Sorry if I ever posted this before but I keep going back to these amazing and under-appreciated guys who were perhaps ruined by overexposure of their more "Pop" material. A real confluence of poetry, musicianship, and exquisite timing.

This the El Vez, the Mexican Elvis, doing a cover of Mexican Radio by Wall of Voodoo and they tear it up. I've got several of their albums and they're a really tight band:

Doll by Doll (Jackie Leven)

One day, I will just have all his CDs.

“Oh, you've got only one CD left, there. ”
“Yeah. Take it.”
“How much?”
“No. Just take it.”
“Why?”
“Why not?”

(Right. I am dumb. Now he's dead, and all I've had was this ridiculous conversation)

Kelly Clarkson - Catch my breath
Alyssa Reid - The game
Songs like this are mistaken about the target of singing..they just don't want to admit it..but regardless are ear-candy!
On a side note..
Inna - 10 minutes
