what are .m3u and .sfv files?

Well, that's basically the question--what are .m3u and .sfv files? Also, how are .nfo files diff from .txt?

In many cases extensions mean nothing (in nfo and txt -case). .m3u files are generally seen as music playlists.

FYI:

Don't know what .*** is? Check here: http://filext.com/

SFV btw is a file that will verify the crc of a file. Used specifically with split RAR files.
