What 's the different between text file and binary file?

simply put.. binary is compiled code.. it is unreadable. text file is text.. it is readable.

The difference is content. Text file is just text (standard ASCII or any other coding, inlcluding UTF-8). Binary file can be anything.

No, binary does not have to be compiled or code, but is often unreadable without a proper file editor.
