Look at the URL, it's a site operated by microsofters. They are bound not to tell the truth in that area. They don't get the benefit of the doubt, it's not an honest mistake. What's the full context?

Rcently a friend of mine who has never run Linux, always run Windows, directed me to a website claiming Windows 10 has few security issues than Linux. I checked it out and the site literally compared the number of reported security issues of Win 10 as compared to EVERY LINUX KERNEL EVER MADE! Naturally that made Win 10 look aces... until, deeper in, one compared even to one linux kernel release version like 2.6.x or 5.4.x, etc. It one way, since we Linux users like to point out that Linux isn't an OpSys, but just a kernel, the conclusion is valid but also absolutely useless unless maybe all versions of Windows were also used.

Yeah. Microsoft is very adept at spin doctoring and FUD. It's also adept at manipulating whomever they don't destroy. Aren't the Emeperor's new clothes simply divine?
