Website Statistics?

Does anyone have suggestions about high-end website tracking programs? A previous employer used Hitbox by WebSideStory and it has a feature I can't seem to find anywhere else...

It allowed you to create a category heirarchy, so that pages where brokendown into logical sections. With a site based on articles or products, this comes in very handy. For example, you could compare CategoryA to CategoryB, or CategoryA1 to CategoryA2, or CategoryA1a to CategoryA1b.

The reporting tool is setup a lot like Windows Explorer - where the folders are the categories and files are the pages.

This functionality requied you to include a JavaScript function, and pass a parameter for the category and one for the pagename. The category parameter allowed you to get deep into the heirarchy by passing a variable like a normal directory structure...

hitbox("/Category+A/Category+1/Category+a", "Category+a+Index");

I thought about trying to write a javascript/php function to make a db insert on every request, but that seems to be very messy. Of course, Hitbox also reported many other stats, but this one was the most beneficial for marketing.

Is there anything remotely like this out there?

By the way, Hitbox was not cheep. The $20-something per month they say is if your site gets very little traffic.

For more info on Hitbox...

Moved: This question really has nothing to do with Linux on a technical level directly. Moved to General where its more suitable.
