Webserver newbie...need help...

Ok...I have apache setup and working when pointing to http://localhost/....I have a domain name...what next?

How can I get my domain name to point to this machine? I don't want to pay for URL redirection. This machine is going to be a dedicated webserver.....

You need to setup a DNS server and then give that information with the Registrar you registered the site to those DNS names or IP's, etc. If you don't have a DNS server or don't want to setup one, then you can use a freeservice like www.zoneedit.com or something along those lines...
