i like jpegs but i do notice a difference with png's.

and i bought my speakers for 30 bucks and back in the day when i used windows i used to listen to 64kb WMA's

now im listening to 192kb mp3's, but im gonna encode them into 128kb oggs once i get the utility working.

and I suppose you don't have a SGI monitor ?
I mean it didn't cost you more than what ? 100-200 $ ?

oh...

i know who sgi were, but i just assumed you meant a technology from the context.

we have sgi monitors at school in CAD/3d animation. due to the budget cuts, we hooked them up to 20 dollar ebay video cards. 21" monitors running at 60hz and 1024x768. blech.
