Video podcasts on regular Ipod nano

Hi,

I know that I should post this question on another forum but heck, linuxquestions is my favorite forum!

I was wondering if I could just put the sound from a video podcast on my ipod nano since iTunes doesn't let me.

"Ask a Ninja" is just so damn funny to not always bring it with you!

Split the audio stream out of the video and put that on your iPod. Plenty of apps can do that easy enough, avidemux being one.

Can I do that also with Audacity?

Dunno haven't tried. Give it a shot and see how you go, I don't think it'll be able to open a video file though. mplayer should be able to dump the audio stream to a WAV file, check the man page for details on how to do that.

Oh, ok. Anyway I tried avidemux and it workt perfectly for me.
