i have found that on many sites which offer links to flash animations (eg bebo's "flashbox"), you have to enter a URL to a .swf file, and yet the majority of all flash content is, at a guess, embedded into the webpage, as the page is .shtml or .html. is there a way of obtaining the links to the .swf file, or am i missing something?
if you use firefox , with flashgot plugin you can do this
or you can see the page source , and search for the swf file , and use your IQ to guess the location of the swf file , most of time this is easy to guess
and then put the url in the address bar and "save as" the page
thanks a load, the "view-source:" thing works great with firefox, but do you know what the command is in safari, as i use that more than firefox nowdays.
Thanks,
dont worry, i found out -- much easier. just right clicking somewhere in the webpage (not the flash movie though) and selecting 'view as source' seems to do the trick. thanks for the help,
