Uploading mp3 files.

Hi: I uploaded an mp3 file to www.filedropper.com. And I am seeing a message saying:

Embed Code to share this file on websites and forums:
Code:

<a href=http://www.filedropper.com/sample_9><img src=http://www.filedropper.com/download_button.png width=127 height=145 border=0/></a><br /><div style=font-size:9px;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;width:127px;font-color:#44a854;> <a href=http://www.filedropper.com >upload files online</a></div>
What do I do with this code? My intention is that people in a certain forum reading my thread can play the file.

You copy the line and paste it into a webpage.

You'll get some sort of embedded player that will be visible in a browser. Here's an example in this post: http://bobcesca.thedailybanter.com/b...ent-11813.html (not saying what you have will look like that, but you'll get the idea).

You might check the forum rules before embedding media in a post. I have no idea whether or not it's addressed but better safe than sorry. If it's a thread on LQ, the LQ rules are here.

Thanks. You mean I must enclose the code between some tags? For example [html]...[/html]?

HTML code is disabled on LQ, so this code will not work here.

The embed is complete as written; I've tested it on my own website. It is not, however, a player. It's a download link. Here's a picture.

Well, thank you very much, frankbell. What I'm doing now is to use mixcloud, which directly lets the post reader to play the file in their site. For example,
