Location: Earth? I would say I hope so but I'm not so sure about that... I could just be a figment of your imagination too.
Distribution: CentOS at the time of this writing, but some others over the years too...

So you need a real keyboard to make it work properly ? hmmmmmmmmm...

And the noise it makes with every keystroke, bugger that. No wonder it didn't take off, you can see why. I think I'll stick to a real keyboard somehow. It seems like a pretty flawed idea.

Even the older ones look better...

I wish the NSA would install a NON-FUD "backdoor" into your brain...

EDIT: @rob.rice, next time, before spreading yet more FUD, and FYI; there are SEVERAL init systems available for Gentoo, such as, runit, SYSVINIT, etc, not just systemd. I suggest you look at this, which was very easily found via a simple Google search - I suggest you look at your OWN posting signature...I like this part of it: "the truth is out there google it". Well said, a pity you don't even pay attention to that...

I saw that keyboard in an anime called Puella Magi Madoka Magica. About 5 years ago.

Is that this one?

If so, it doesn't look too bad, nice graphics!

You can choose between systemd and OpenRC during a normal installation and you could probably use anything else as well (but that's unsupported).

That's the show, but what I meant is that in the show, the main character uses a laser keyboard. Quite possibly that exact model.

And it's an extremely good show, if you haven't seen it already. Last time I checked it was on Netflix.
