My 2 cents.

When/If X allows viewing pages, such as the link that you posted, without javascript on, then I will start looking at it. In the mean time, It's a waste of time.

That would be my compliant. Not the content, It's not viewable. There are some scrapers for python that one can use. But I don't like any of them. You have to use their API.

If you can't make a page that at least shows the basic text content without running huge bandwidth scripts, then I'm not using it. Twitter used to load just the basic text of a page without scripts. That's fine if you can't see images, if the menu's don't work, if video's don't work.

Edit:
Even youtube can be searched/viewed without scripts.
