In India, you can be an illiterate and be a politician. In fact most politicians are illiterate in India and have little education.

In fact, the joke is that to be a politician in India you must be a school dropout. The lower your qualification, the better your chances.

P.S> In India, politics is the fastest way to riches!

Seriously... becoming a politician is the fastest legitimate way to becoming rich.
Like trickykid already suggested: (in most countries) politicians get at least one college/university degree

I think many people underestimate the work of politicians. Sure, for a small village it's no biggie, but when you are somewhere near the top (think years of spending time at party meetings, slowly working your way to the top etc etc / first getting famous and the entering politics), whenever there's a crisis you will spend much more time on it than a 9 to 5 job. The chances of you spending nice evenings at home with your family will get slim, etc ...

yes, you can make shitloads of money (varying from country to country, obviously), but most top politicians do work for it.

Reading this thread has got me thinking if I chose the right road. I am an English teacher in Japan. I make about 3 gran a month for about a weeks worth of work. Its not a great job but it pays the bills. I love computers though I believe I was raise in a wrong way around them. I was raised in being a slave to my computer and its windows brain. Seriously. At my highschool we had a great Electrical Engineering program one of the first to be available at the high school level. I learned Electrical Engineering and found that I love it. When I entered my University I changed majors and went with English for a change. I guess I needed a break. I ended up being a teacher and I found out that I love it as well. Next Year I will open up a school in Japan which should net me about 100k a year before taxes. I am Also re-learning computers from scratch. I fergot a lot when I changed to English. I have spent the past six weeks going through and learning how to use 3 distro's (Shrike, Fedora Core 1, Fedora Core 2) the latter has fit my made for windows pc like a glove. I run a Fujitsu FMV Biblio and everything works straight from installation. I am using Beginning Linux Programming its a red book that teachs you about the ins and out of shell programming strait through c programming. Its hard for me to get into it but I am making great progress. I have taken some courses through the net and have found that I retain more by reading it and trying it over and over. It's slow because I will erase the directory and start again when I finish so I will not cheat. But I am learning a lot. There are things that I dont know but I will learn them as I go. My friend and I have a starter computer company in the works out of California. I have worked in visual basic and have written code in it very well. I learned though that the windows environment is very contricting when it comes to trying to learn something on your own.

My point. University is a neccessity but you can do things you love and not make money while other things you like can make you money. Everything has its price. I want to be rich just like everyone else and if you are serious about making money right out of highschool you only have to remember what my brother tells me. (He has a GED and is slow mentally when it comes to non-mechanical things but I love and respect him for what he has accomplished) Hard work in the beggining gets you to retirement faster than anyone else. He is a mine Engineer now making 70k a year. He owns his own house which he bought and is still paying for at 60k but he is remodeling it out of his own pocket and current market value of the house places it somewhere close to 100k. He is busting his but to get what he needs and he enjoys his life.

So you want an easy 6 figure job out of highschool. You can do it by working hard for a few years and saving every penny.(ie no wasting it away on a girl just cause you think you might get some, or drugs or beer or smokes) Then invest it in a profitable way ie a house stocks, cds(not the listening kind). You can make it and don't let anyone tell you you are wasting your time.

Sorry to everyone for such a long qoute and I guess my way and my brothers way are not easy laid back. I am 27 years old own a house in Japan will get married next year and currently make around 70k a year from teaching English for the company I work for. But I went to university and my brother didn't. We are both a success he had his way. I have mine. You have yours. Just work it your way.

ps. Japan is the country with the highest suicide rates in the world they just aren't reported on account that it would be bad press for the country. Japan also has the highest rapes in the world commited by its own people also un-reported because of bad press. Foreign rapes in the country are reported because it strengthens Japans look that its people are peaceful.

Unless you luck up and become an entertainer (or athlete) you wont see that money right out of high school. Most upstart businesses fail (not to discourage you about starting your own business) The majority of people who make a good salary have a 4 year degree or better. Those are just the hard facts. If you have alot of ambition, drive, motivation and know people in certain trades then it can be done but again you will have to bust your butt. You like computers and cars? How about one day starting your own shop that customizes cars with computers so they are equipped with a small flat panel monitor and system for mp3, dvd and GPS navigation.

I dunno why you need a 6 figure salary. A Gixxer 1000 only costs about 15k brand new, and it will beat the pants off any of the cars you listed. .

Anyhow, yeah my first thoughts for you were to be a drug dealer too.

Is this a good idea for a buisness?

My parents are always looking at houses, always. They look at house that could sell for a lot more than what they're asking! A lot of people have taught me that easy money is in sales, So lessay an idiot who doesn't have any idea about house value sells his house for 30,000 less than what he could get for it... This seems like an easy way to get A LOT of money! Or is it not this easy?

People go to RealEstate school and take classes to learn how to sell houses.. is this a question that is pertaining to your, get rich quicker than 99% of all other people type threads? Buying and selling real estate takes more than just having money to begin with.

Yes.. and people do it all the time... But you need to be educated on it..

There are classes offered constantly for this type of thing.. check at a local community college or something.. thery're pretty cheap and generally about 5 weeks or so...

There's also an info-mercial from some guy about the exact same thing.. and he'll send you a apckets and video with trainign stuff... I'd go that route if I was gonna do it...

One of my friends Mom's did that... she's doing pretty good at it..

Seriously, you earn great things with hard work.. nothing comes easy, unless your mommy and daddy are already rich.

But yet again, I see this as a duplicate of your other thread which we should merge, have you given this any thought, apparently you know nothing of sellling houses or real estate.. some make crap, some make good money and some make outstanding money. Again, if you want to get rich really quick, I would rethink your personal goals and what you want out of life, nice cars are not the world....

PS. I've reported this thread to be merged with your existing thread that is asking how to get rich quick so you can buy fancy cars..
