Question Trying to Dual boot with win2k and knoppix

Hello All,

I'm new to the whole linux thing, just recently purchased knoppix linux and i love it! i've been using the "live" simulation aspect, but now i'd like to go a little further with it,

Here's my question: How do i go about setting a dual boot operating system, what i want to do is have both knoppix and windows 2k on there , and have it so that when i start the computer i can have a choice of which o/s to boot into

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Barry

First, why are you posting here? This should be in the linux-general section. That way you will have more luck find answers.
The first thing you should do is set-up partitions. You have win 2k with a single partition formated as ntfs, I presume. That's aways a bit tricky. You got to get your self and partitioner that can handle ntfs. Partiton magic is a good one, but it's expencive. Also try this
After that, it's easy.
