Thunderbird Webmail Extention

Hey, I downloaded the Webmail extention, and the Hotmail extention, and installed both. I had it all setup, and it got my email okay and everything. But I can't send any! It says "Sending of message failed -The message could not be sent because connection to the SMTP server www.hotmail.com failed." Says the server may not accept SMTP connections, or I may have it set up wrong. Well, I tried to set it up diffrently, and no luck. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
