Ya I agree, I can't say enough good things about this guy either, he's a real credit to humanity, his religion, his country, his people, and he is just a wonderful human being. If everyone was like him, the world would be a better place!

Crashed_Again 04-06-2003 06:29 PM

Yeah that guys the man! I hope they give him a nice spot in the new Iraqi government. Maybe make him an ambassador.

quietguy47 04-06-2003 08:01 PM

That does take guts.
The person who I am still amazed with is the person who stood in front of the tanks in tiananmen square.
People like this, I like to think, are not at all rare.

Whitehat 04-06-2003 10:40 PM

We all need to be a little more like that guy :)

Nice work dude....

frieza 04-06-2003 10:58 PM

Just to play devil's advocate: He could just be uncontrolably vengeful to Saddam's regime, and he's probably not alone. There's going to be a lot of ethnic scores to settle once Saddam's regime is taken care of.

I saw the pics of the torture chambers at Basra on the news last night. That's what this guy was risking, for himself and his family. No matter what his motivation, whether he did it cos he loves the Americans or hates Saddam or cos he thought it was wrong to beat up a female POW, he should be given credit for his courage.

somebody must not have told him we are at war......which is nice. he must've felt sorry for such a young, innocent girl in a land hardened by so much strife.
i think it must be confusing for the iraqis to see young, innocent americans troops after having been so cowardly bombed into oblivion by our naval and air forces. it must be frustrating knowing that the only people who they can hold accountable are the ones naieve enough to be shipped off to the front lines after these cowardly attacks. god bless the iraqis and god bless our troops.
