The terminator wont kill us , but will simply take away our jobs.

Interesting video on youtube :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r211u89eUaY&t=317s

according to which most of the jobs will be replaced by AI.

If a developed state like the US allows this, where will the American people go ?

This has been an argument for centuries, if not longer. Technology just makes the hard jobs easy, allowing humans to concentrate on new kinds of jobs. This is one of the ways in which we have advanced as a species.

I haven't watched the video, but the description mentions a second video that answers that?

yes.
automation has been the trend for a loooong time now, and the problems that come with it.

but, just to predict where this thread is going to go whether i mention this or not:

no, humanity will not be wiped out by robots anytime soon.

True, but with increasing population, poor people will suffer will less jobs available. As such the cost of education has hit the roof.
Only the rich will afford a lot of things.

The real solution is for people to stop breeding as much as they are. As the world population increases [it has more than doubled in the last 50 years], so do our problems. At some point, more countries will have to enforce mandatory one or two child policies.

Haven't watched the video, but... The way I see it, it SHOULD be in the companies best interest to keep people employed, because if more and more people are made redundant because of automation (or because of moving production to low wage countries), those people won't be able consume, because they're unemployed, so in the end companies will have fewer customers. Problem is every company only think about their own costs and what they can save, but on a bigger scale I think it hits back.
