Christian; specifically Christian
i.e. I believe Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for my(everyone's) sins
and that he rose from the grave and will also be coming back soon.
Actually; I find it interesting when people say they don't believe in God
as I have never not believed.
To me it is extremely evident, and for someone to say He doesn't exist
is like telling me the sun isn't real...
just my 2 cents
I don't believe in an imaginary old guy in the clouds, but I know the sun does exist.
Never understood how people can believe such an irrational illogical fantasy story.
@MrCode: are you going to be whining in every thread when someone states his opinion about human/mind/soul/bla/whatever it is you're always whining about? Not that you're dong that already...
I find it rather weird that in a forum dealing a lot with technology, real stuff, logic, rational stuff, there are this many people believing in someone imaginary
well
for all those who subscribe to the evolution religion
please remember evolution has never been proven...
IF evolution could be scientifically proven
it would be called the Law of Evolution wouldn't it?
but its not
its called the Theory of Evolution
as for religious indoctrination easuter; I was not raised in the church, etc
actually the religious indoctrination you speak of is when evolution is taught in our schools
and something else; no scientist in the world can claim to know how Life began
oh sure, they'll say some kind of bacteria suddenly appeared somewhere
but seriously, they will all admit sooner or later that they do not really know.
and it wasn't a lightning bolt hitting a mud puddle that started it.
it is funny how people believe in aliens or evolution easier than they can believe in God
when His presence and work is so visible

The thing is, I felt that I was being attacked personally. To me, it was like entz was trying to force his opinions on religion/spirituality/higher calling/whatever onto me.
As to whether I'm going to be "whining", no, I'm not. I'll admit that I was very tempted to post a long dissertation on my exact viewpoints and confusions (in fact I had it all written out already), but I thought that's something I should save for my blog, or Facebook, or wherever else other than in this thread.
EDIT: I see this thread is quickly turning into a religious argument. Should we have it closed?
no it doesn't
but it is strange after all that technology we couldn't realize that there is a god
it is my opinion , so it is Ok for me
Quite the opposite for me, after all this science and technology and many still believe in religion. This is of course not taking into account the fact that much of modern science is actually a religion itself, and which I do not believe in.

ok what is known to me , that Allah create man from sand
thats it no bacteria, nothing like that
It is already proven that Jesus Christ lived, was crucified, and died on the cross
that can be proven. it is historical fact
evolution, aliens, etc cannot be proven
hello khodeir
I was speaking of what the evolutionists believe..
They believe we somehow "popped up" from nothing or inanimate stuff, without any being doing it
lol
to me thats idiocy; in the history of written records no one has observed any creature
suddenly inventing itself nor has science ever observed a creature somehow evolving into something else
