The equivalence


Hi,
Someone talked about such commands (which should be from Unix)
$ dig communigate.com mx
$ dig mail.communigate.com

what are the equivalent commands i can use for windows?

There is a Windows version available of dig too, so no real need for similar software: http://aaronsaray.com/blog/2008/05/30/dig-for-windows/, http://www.isc.org/software/bind

i have copied these files to my \windows\system32 folder

dig.exe
libbind9.dll
libdns.dll
libisc.dll
libisccfg.dll
liblwres.dll

but i still can't run this

C:\WINDOWS\system32>dig communigate.com
系統無法執行指定的程式。

C:\WINDOWS\system32>dir dig.*
磁碟區 C 中的磁碟是 SOFTWARE
磁碟區序號: 08B4-4EA1

C:\WINDOWS\system32 的目錄

1 個檔案 77,824 位元組

the Chinese above means "it can't run that command"

Hi,

I've got no idea what might be wrong. You're running that on a Windows machine. Maybe you should post your question on a Windows forum. At least it should be moved to a non *NIX forum.
