Has anyone had dejavu's in their dreams? Something in your dream came true in real life.
I've never had a precognitive dream like that, but I've had life-changing dreams. Some years ago, I had repeated dreams on the theme of being on a journey that was obstructed: buses that never came, trains whose platform I couldn't find, roads blocked by flooding. These were extraordinarily vivid: I could describe what I'd seen in as much detail as I can describe local streets, even days afterwards. I consulted the Yi Jing as to whether they were significant and was told
> Creativity is ... advantageous and befitting
> The superior man wants to be timely in his moral advancement. He is therefore in perplexity. His position is based on heavenly virtues.
> There will be success ... Heaven and earth are in union.
I then took the plunge and changed my religion, and the dreams stopped.

Yes see post #17, details was exactly like the dreams, word for word and location. Have had other dreams come true but details didn't exactly line up, just the theme of the dream.

Camping out. I dreamed I could slide down mountain cliffs into the valley below. No matter how high or dangerous. No injuries.
No flying though.
when I was about 10yrs old would have dreams where I would walk off a cliff and could fly around like peter pan. and these dreams would continue from one night to the next.
I recall flying and floating as awesome dreams! Has anyone had a sudden falling dream (I was surprised once to hear some don't?) Like my messy ones they've always woke me up... on occasion they happen while falling asleep.
I'm glad to help raise my nephews (one) as my own and if you raise kids we learn many things long forgotten (e.g: walking.) A quick search shows babies dream more... wonder what we've forgotten there?
occasionally when I was younger. I remember one where in one instance I was falling from a airplane and in the next instance I was driving a bus down the road.
I'd like to experience more variations but mine have mostly been into a black abyss. Normally so sudden I wake or even jolt up, like when a baby's falling asleep in a highchair and they jerk back out of it. (Albeit not necessarily conscious;) I'm not afraid of heights mind you after 4 years as a mechanics helper at 2 foundries, climbing and crawling.
Has anyone used a TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) there's suggested points for near the brain, they take some serious getting used to (like I'd imagine acupuncture?) I think I recall Bruce Lee stating he could sleep while getting an abs workout with one but I'm sure that's not recommended to the head (or, for anyone not Bruce Lee! )
I like the sudden falling dreams, they are fun, then again remember I am the kind of person that gets intrigued by nightmares, not really scared by them
That used to happen to me a lot in High School and college. Seems to make sense, I slept odd hours and stayed awake either drinking, studying, or working a lot.
Said I really never dream, but do recall back in those busy school days I occasionally had a Monday morning dream where I dreamed that I had a full day of school and work, fast paced, very busy, only to wake up to find out that it was the beginning of the week, and usually also that I just woke up late!
Funnily enough, with kids, house, marriage, etc ... those school years were a BREEZE! [sigh!] I guess I'm just more tired now. And there is a truth in that. I used to do some hard labor weekend work and the wife once said that she could tell I was dead tired because I fell into bed and didn't move once all night.
@Rtmistler*
This reminds me of a few times waking up thinking I was late for work or school, only to rush there and find PM not AM or vise versa!? (If when work? Coworkers were always like, "I could go home if you want?" )

A slight change, has anyone experienced sleep paralysis? A state where you are awake, but the rest of your body is not, hence you cannot really move or speak.... Now THAT would be terrifying to experience.
