Technology Patents

Mike Elgan was an Editor for the old windows magazine website.......He now put out his own newsletter which can be read here

the very first story in his latest newsletter reads like this.............

Quote:
Patently Absurd

MICROSOFT WAS AWARDED A U.S. PATENT Tuesday for a "Method
and apparatus for transmitting power and data using the human body."
That's right. If you want to use human skin as a data bus or muscle
tissue as a conduit for electricity, you may need to pay Microsoft a
licensing fee.

you can read the rest of this story on his website...........
more proof that M$ wants to rule the world............

patent the mouse click, patent the 'todo' list, patent the patent... these insane maniacs are goin crazy... the next thing you hear will be a patent awarded to microsoft for the use of finger movement(read typing) to control the movement of a position indicator(read cursor) on a computer screen. so you pay M$ by the keystrokes. don't know what sort of people work in the patents department
