tech question: please identify this cable for me


In my box of electronic miscellany, I found a type of USB cable (I think); I don't know what it's for or what I would call it. Photo attached. I'd look it up myself, but I can't, because I'd have to first know what it's called. I have no idea what it came with, and I've probably had it around for years.

It has a typical USB cable head at one end, and a head with raised edged at the other; that end won't fit into any USB port I know. What's it for?

Oh...thanks, I see you're obviously right. I don't have any present use for that but might in the future. Back into the box it goes.
