Yes! I got the first vote. I'm not a huge fan because I don't like RedHat all of that much anymore.

XavierP 06-29-2003 11:50 AM

Like the calendar, the background is a bit ......... red, though.

Slick! The calendar looks great! Those look like WindowMaker DockApps.

I like what you have at the top of the screen. What is it?

Brain Drop 06-30-2003 12:24 AM

as far as ideas, i always enjoy to turn off the window borders on eterm as well as make transparent. i dont know if that works outside of enlightenment or not cause thats all i use( i like using the scroll wheel to switch desktops). and i like to set a couple eterms to start on boot in the manner i described in a set location/desktop but with one semi transparent red set to root and one semi trans green for some other things like cd burning etc. and thats about it. other than that i just go through the screen shots thread and look for anything cool i can gleam. but outside of karamba, the best looking desktops are always on E. all hail raster and benr:o .

you've got some good ideas; i'm on the calendar thing. you might try toning down the redhat bit some, as the desktop and the machine are you, not them-a good start; keep it up.
