ondoho,

I already stated it is native to the Kubuntu 14.04 LTS and you can burn a LiveDVD of that, run it in the trial mode and see for yourself. It does require some changes to the default "System Settings" to see, but it is there. Been using it since 2005, or 15 years now!

  • Authoring Books,
  • Working a Minimum of 5 dev session,
  • Researching at least 50 topics,
  • X-Refing at least 20 items,
  • 5-20 DB sessions, including at least 3 different DBs, such as MS-SQL, MySQL, PostGres,
  • 2-5 IDE sessions as different IDEs work better on different coding environments,
  • Tracking data via DBs and at least 20 xslx SSs,
  • Running RDT on a least 20 machines,
  • Upgrading multiple web sites, SEO, SMO qnd ORM (Online Reputation Mgmt).
Right now I have over 200 windows open on this machine and it if F&*^%#$ on 18.04 because the legally required "Super Windows" and "Quadrant" are not found in the repositories as required.

Sorry you are not a dedicated developer, and a novice, from the responses you've made! Just because you never used it does not mean it does not exist!

Cheers!

TBNK
Not a novice at all and I don't appreciate the insinuation. You are definitely a troll though because you have never explained this "super windows" until this post and have incited arguments. Everyone on this thread was at a loss to understand what you meant because you failed to explain it. I'm done with this thread.

@ TBotNik: All you have to do is give us a link to the site where the standard is to be found. Even if it just says "You cannot enter this site without paying a $300 membership fee", that will still provide some evidence that you know what you are talking about. I haven't seen any so far.
hazel and all,

OK! Since you all don't get it, I'll go to my one remaining 14.04 box pull up the "Super Windows" and do a screenshot and post it here. Then y'all will be able to see it plainly!

Cheers!

Can you post a link to the specific release of Kubuntu 14.04 which you are talking about? Unfortunately the official version of Kubuntu 14.04 LTS was released in 2014. We can install that one, but if it is not the same one you've been using since 2005, it may be pointless for people to make the attempt.

Will await the screenshots promised to be posted soon.

This is SS of Dolphin! Notice the 7 Windows included in the "Super Window and the 5 tabs in the currently selected sub window (Regular Window Session)!

You can easily see all things being worked on in the "Super Window Tabs"!

You can see the 4 regular windows of 1.) GMail, 2.) Social Media, 3.) Ebay and 4.) LQ Here, and the 6 FireFox tabs open here showing the 5 LQ sessions I'm following, insluding this posting.

Cheers!

All,

I tried but I cannot capture the pull-down menu for moving a new regular window into a Super Window as a Super Window tab, but it's there!

Still doesn't answer my previous questions about "legal requirement for Linux".
I didn't really question the term you're using there.

All this is more than a little weird, and the 70th post of weirdness at that.
I guess it's fine as long as OP's unsocial posting behaviour concentrates on this topic.

ondoho.

OK, So you are not aware of the IISC (International Internet Security Committe) the agency that makes all cyber security laws, rules regulations and standards. Been around since 1994, so "ignorance of the law is no excuse".

Konqueror is all that I'm getting out of the screenshots. Looks like an older version. Guess you can open any program from there and use it as a bookmark to future find a program and use it as a tab maybe??

Everyone so far has been rather patient with trying to figure this out. You know it's often difficult to guess what another member is trying to convey. I think that most of the replies are genuine and are trying to figure out what you are asking.

I am still at a loss to understand how the two parts are connected.

Let me guess? They're so very top secret and classified, they simply "don't exist"? I.e. no website nor any other traces of them. How very exciting.

Just did a wikipedia and a duckduckgo search. With the expected result: it does not exist. Why else would you have been withholding any sort of proof/link from us for so long.
...
Oh wait, no, I see: it does exist, but we cannot see it because it's so secret! Yet we must obey its laws, globally! Resistance is futile!

It's been interesting to get to know you a little better & get some background for your questions.

I don't know why you're posting this stuff, but I really hope it's not because you actually believe it.
