Streaming Audio Server?
 

I'm looking for a free linux based streaming audio server that streams live input from the sound card's line in jack. I'm hoping for a somewhat universal audio format, although most users will be using windows based clients, so Windows Media, Real Player, or Quick Time would be prefered. I'd appreciate any hints on this problem.

Don't have any specific thoughts but have you tried www.freshmeat.net or www.sourceforge.com?
