Unhappy Startup file

Hello, I'm a relative nezbie to linux so this might be a stupid question. But want my pc to run a fez programms when it boots up. I don't want to have to run these bu command line everytime since I use them all the time.
So where is the file which I write to in order to do this (equivalent to the Autoexec.bat file in windows)
Thank you.
