It really pees me off the way people stereotype Linux users. We're not all geeks you know. Some of......

Oh forget it.

The next generation is my favourite.

Then DS9, Original, Voyager. Haven't seen Enterprise yet.

Dragineez 05-08-2006 08:39 AM

The Envelope Please

1. Battlestar Gallactica (2003)
2. Original Star Trek
3. Next Generation
4. Voyager

Were DS9 or Enterprise ever worth watching, I mean except for the big boobed vulcan?

Gogul 05-08-2006 08:48 AM

well boobs are good lol

I agree, though I guess interest in IT == interest in technology which is kinda connected with sci-fi

brianthegreat 05-08-2006 09:00 AM

I cannot believe that they took Enterprise off the air!?! People might not have liked that series as much when compared to the others but it was a hell of a lot better than decent. Enterprise was a hell of a lot better than Crap Space Nine and how many seasons was that on??

Battlestar Gallactica is the only decent running sci-fi show at this time and who knows if they will ever finish that series considering making it back to earth. Probably will with about three shows crammed with the final scences.

1. Battlestar Gallactica
2. Voyager
3. Next Generation
4. Enterprise

Ohh, hell no! Crap Space Nine is the worst series ever in my opinion. She was not a vulcun but some other thing that had a worm growing inside of her.

pwc101 05-08-2006 09:09 AM

1. TNG
2. Enterprise
3. Voyager
4. Original
5. DS9

Glad I'm not the only one that though DS9 was rubbish! Surely it defeated the object of a "Star Trek" if you were fixed in one place...?

I thought he was referring to the vulcan on enterprise

not sure what the thing with the worm inside it was... maybe a betazoid or something along those lines though my knowledge of it sucks because I'm not really a big trecky myself...

It's actually quite funny: The original they boldy went, the next generation they boldly went then came back again, voyager they boldly went home and DS9 they boldly stayed in one place :D

I was......

I could never really get into Enterprise. I kept expecting Dean Stockwell to materialize on the bridge smoking a cigar.

Gogul 05-08-2006 04:04 PM

there's something I would like to have seen :D

Trek Fans - What do you think of this concept

Startrek - the next-next generation..

> set 70 years in picard's future

> Data/B4 is an Admiral and the Captain's direct report

> The Borg have finaly figured out that they can get volunteers
for assimilation and not be the bad guys they once were. Some
borg are anoying though "Assimiate now? c'mon How about now"
They also know alot "Yeah that's species 232.43 they melt stuff"

> 1/3 of the crew is holographic (esp doctors and engineers becuase
they can "reach into" stuff.

> Also much of the ship itself is holographic and can be
re-configured as needed.

> New Foe: The people from the Andromeda Galaxy have arrived (The Kelvans in
the episode "By any other name" (scotty's quote "It's Green") are
here and they are Really Angrey(tm)

They come in large ships with very advanced tech. Their
diplomats lie. They tend to shoot first. Through the first part
few seasons the Federation may not even know why starships go
missing.

Paramount - This story pitch is YOURS I, as the author release it to you
completly free of any strings or requests. I for one miss good star trek
on TV and wish I had some to watch. Please just try to make it good.
As I said I disclaim any rights to any renumeration for this idea.

mr_spock7 05-08-2006 07:06 PM

I should have added Battlestar and Andromeda....maybe even SG1.
