Split out from "Awesome machines" dd thread in Newbie

What I'm talking about in my OP is a young man's girlfriend kissing another man. No one who reads the OP, and subsequent discussion thread, would consider INTIMATE CONTACT WITH DISHONEST STRANGERS.

The readers of this post need to be intelligent enough to understand the content. Having said this, my readers would know if their girlfriends were cohabitating, or married. Every young guy wants a girl he knows is his own, for himself, not a girl who is experienced with any form of intimate contact.

This works both ways. If a girl remains chaste: married, divorced, and cohabitating men will try to lure her into a private environment, where commission of sin is assured; while sincere men will take interest. When the subject arises, she need only say she prefers not to be in private with males she isn't related to.

Not to ruin a perfectly good dd thread, but: 1000 out of 1000 battered women report intimate contact outside the bounds of Sacramental Matrimony.

The boastful presumption of your comment sickens even the calloused, and destroys relations between decent men and women, with quarrelsome contempt for chastity.

Now I need to leave a little wiggle room for the females who might have sinned before they read this. Go to confession at a Roman Catholic Church, confess the sins present in the consciousness, at that time, with contrition and repentance; say an Act of Contrition , receive absolution, do penance, and stay away from sin.

This makes a single girl a virgin again. Once this is completed, the female must take care that her immodesty not create an occasion for a man to stumble into sin. Meeting the perfect partner is not chance, nor is it based on superstition, or anything one could read in a womens' magazine. Girls meet spouses that are what they deserve.

Think about it: Every date is going to result in marriage, or splitting up, eventually. Every man a girl meets will either marry her, or not. The sinful attract the sinful, and they deserve each others' wickedness. I've even heard of single girls intentionally sterilizing themselves, with governmentally restricted chemicals and/or biologicals, gotten from a doctor. There is nothing that attracts emotional abuse from men like being on the pill. I can stand in club, and pick out every girl who's on the pill, from 10m away. It's so obvious.

Ok, have a good day ...

I don't think that's much of a problem: with all due respect, you're clearly a complete whacko on this subject.

You've already done that (perhaps you can go to confession and undo the damage? nah, only in your own warped mind). Now try not do anything like it ever again here: this is supposed to be a *technical* forum.

No harm done (as far as I am concerned ). I just wanted to explain the way this particular thread is handled by its creator.

If people want to be out in the Light: The Truth is the two edged sword that slays the wicked and perfects the just. But I appreciate your constructive criticism, aimed at the content of the post in question, as any civilized human would have it; At least any male civilized human.

I would get bored maintaining this rather heavily used thread if I allowed malcontents to gag me with feminist diatribe. I'm here for fun. I enjoy helping people.

Yes, when criticism is constructive then all will benefit. I think a lot of the damaging posts are from someone looking for a fight or too just be a person that likes to boost or show off.

I do appreciate your work with the 'dd' post. I know how much work it takes to maintain a post or a wiki. I've been away for a few days and have a lot of catching up to do.

Keep up the good work! I hope no one repeats a flame or a post that is just a piece of sh*t.

If we got paid for the time that we spend helping others on LQ then criticism would be handle by a 'Human Resources Center'. Since we are not paid then the mods are the 'HRC'.

I couldn't care less if you believe the religious drivel that you spew (edit: make that 'macho fundamentalist drivel' - I wouldn't want to seem to tar all those who hold less demented religious beliefs with the same brush that I'm applying to you): my issue is with your spewing it here, which is inappropriate for a technical forum.

I also couldn't care less if you're bored. Shape up, or shut up.

Logic is a pillow man creates, to stick his head underneath, plug his ears, close his eyes; and failing to see God, say, "I was right all the time"; until a tiny bit of light gets under the pillow, and reveals itself as Truth.

The Truth is The Light that reveals how filthy people have become. Rather than seeking to be cleansed with forgiveness, they try to extinguish The Light, hiding their guilt in the darkness, by killing The Evidence against themselves: The Source of Light.

BT+1, The world doesn't need more strife. If people are not free to tell The Truth, even if Truth offends the guilty, we all will perish in darkness. Your utter contempt for any increase of God's Grace in the world, shows you have positioned yourself as the lone authority, becoming quarrelsome; criticizing what others do, and contradicting what others say.

Is it not clear by right reason, that cooperation among men is made impossible by the quarrelsome person. She is the corrosive sand, in the finely tuned movement called civilization.

Nature itself teaches that the unmarried woman becomes an occasion for men to stumble, and brings scandal to her father's name. The obedient virgin brings joy to her father's house, until she is given in marriage, to the man who loves her more than he loves his own body.

When a man places person-hood above passion, insuring the female needs for security and commitment are met, before his own base instinct, loving her more than he loves himself; she becomes a true equal with him.

It is through chastity that the female gains equality with the male. Equality for women means not to be seen as objects, but that each have a special man, all her own; to love her more than he loves himself, and want her for a noble purpose, not to control the beauty he lusts after, dominating her, crushing her blossoms; but to teach her Truth, Love, and Forgiveness; allowing her the freedom to use what she has learned from the man, with her own creativity, to create what this world needs, as she is uniquely endowed to do: To bring forth blessed children, in the image and likeness of God, and the man she loves more than she can say, and herself; from her holy and chaste womb.

This is the beauty of innocence those in the darkness seek to defile, out of sheer wickedness. The Innocent Children of God are Lights unto the world, blameless in God's Sight, with an Inheritance of Absolute Power; A Gift from Their Almighty Father; To Rule The All, treading out the wine press of God's Wrath, filled with the evil among men.

The blood shall rise to three meters, for 600 miles in every direction, as the wine press of destruction is tread out, and everything causing God's Children to stumble is eliminated from the earth.

My Word shall never pass away.

I've taken non-technical posts of dubious content out of
the dd thread and slapped them into General. I'm afraid
I have better things to do than sieve through 24 pages of
a thread that should have been a Linux answer in the first
place, if people spot more posts in there that should be
gone, please report those individually.

Cheers,
Tink

This thread is not funny or laughable or entertaining.

Sometimes people just loose touch with reality and behave completely stupidly. The possible reasons for this are many. When this is the case I doubt that we at LQ can help in any useful way: This is LINUX questions, not psychiatry.org or AliensAreEatingMyBabies.com or whatever.

Perhaps the best we can do here on LQ, which I regard as a strictly technicnal forum, is gently to advise those who seem to be troubled by things unrelated to linux to seek help elsewhere: Please make an appointment with your doctor and discuss what you have posted here, or whatever else is bothering you.

I think they'll understand.

@AwesomeMachine

You have a doctor, go and speak to them NOW.

Best wishes, and welcome back when you are feeling better.

"This makes a single girl a virgin again." So that's how the Catholic church got so rich?

Hi,

The partial thread was moved to General for a reason. There is nothing wrong with being a zealot or know your believes are true within your own soul.

Sometimes people reach out to wherever they can. I have found a lot of people on LQ who I would gladly meet personally. Yet others I would be cautious or maybe just stand off from them therefore no association.

Statement about not being a professional in psych here on LQ. I'm sure there are several. There are a lot of intelligent people on the forums. Some who in real life would come off as deadbeats but are rather intelligent. While others are just jerks and that's being polite.

Some people wear their believes on their sleeves while others just believe. Faith comes to mind!

I was disappointed to see that the boost link didn't point to the C++ libraries at boost.org
