Question Solaris, the new popular OS?

Just a few months ago, Solaris became OpenSolaris and the kernel source became free. Now GNU/Solaris distros begin to appear. At the moment there are 3 such distros. They are alpha and very unstable. Do you think that OpenSolaris might become as popular as Linux one day?

Definately a possibility, although apparently Solaris doesn't currently run very well with x86 at the moment.
