Smile software for network documentation

I am looking for a good software for network/server documentation.
Do you know a good one. Better if it's free

I want to document all layers of the OSI Model.

I want to start with physical layer (L1). For this I need a good program which helps me drawing diagrams etc.

I want to finish with server configuration (ex: BIND, SAMBA).

All the best,
ddaas
