Social app(s) with chat export - Can anyone suggest any ?

Social app(s) with chat export - Can anyone suggest any ?

I have been trying to find any social platforms and any apps (even if third-party) that actually let a user export the chat history, preferably as HTML backup so that one can
see the chat exactly as it originally looks (you know, with all the pictures posted, the emoji's etc etc)

This Question is not something exclusive only to linux per-se, and is not a technical issue, so i deemed it appropriate to only post in the General section
I need a platform that i can use on both linux and android

Addendum: Im even prepared to consider Windows software if need be

any help appreciated

Have you tried putting "chat app export backup" into a search engine? You would get multiple hits.

Yes, i have done that
I have personally reviewed multiple sites regarding chats groups/services, multiple protocols for communicating
with various services on the net etc etc

none of then provide any chat export options - with the exception of Slack which only provides export if purchase their premium pack
Now im asking the community here

I've never seen the need, but both WhatsApp and Signal claim to be able to do that. I won't install WhatsApp just to test it for you, though.

Thank but WhatsApp and Signal dont count in my book as they are more about personal TXTing as far as im concerned
Both apps mandatorily require cellphone numbers

Im not asking you or anyone here to install anything for testing purposes
Im only interested in answers from people who already know in advance

Not exactly sure what you needs are but Facebook lets you d/l every Messenger chat you make in either html or json format. Just down loaded all 398 mb of mine and as a test opened them up off-line. Works fine.
